Eastman was created in the early 1970s as a progressive environmentally sensitive recreational and retirement community. Since its inception, the community has evolved into a diverse population with year-round residents of younger families and retirees and part-time residents who use Eastman as a vacation or getaway retreat. Eastman consists of one thousand single-family homes and 336 condominiums, clustered on or adjacent to the lake.
